Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols to determine urgency of care
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and communication
- Provide compassionate guidance to patients and families regarding care pathways
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate critical cases immediately
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Wisconsin (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong assessment skills in acute care settings
- Exceptional communication and crisis management abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
