Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments to determine medical urgency and prioritize care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams during critical situations
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care pathways
- Manage emergency protocols and stabilize patients when needed
- Provide telehealth triage services for remote patients
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 3 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Expertise in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to remain calm under high-pressure situations
- Strong Spanish language skills a major plus
