Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine medical urgency
- Coordinate with physicians and emergency departments for critical cases
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear medical instructions and patient education
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams for seamless transitions
- Monitor and respond to patient status changes in real-time
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Current Arizona RN license (active and in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
