Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to determine urgency and priority of care
- Provide accurate triage recommendations via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and emergency teams to coordinate patient flow
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation
- Implement clinical protocols and emergency response procedures per hospital standards
- Offer patient education on home care, follow-up procedures, and resource navigation
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX) with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or ENPC preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in emergency triage protocols and clinical judgment
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
