Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Utilize evidence-based protocols to determine appropriate disposition
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and state regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada
- Minimum 3 years ER or critical care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Exceptional triage decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
