Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments to determine acuity levels and prioritize care
- Collaborate with physicians to develop immediate treatment plans
- Oversee patient flow through emergency department resources
- Document clinical observations using EHR systems with 100% accuracy
- Provide critical guidance to patients/families during high-stress situations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Expertise in triage protocols and emergency assessment
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems
