Responsibilities
- Assess patient triage calls using evidence-based protocols to determine urgency and care priority
- Provide clinical guidance and education to patients via telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for triage protocols
- Handle high-stress situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Adapt to flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and remote shifts
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification and current BLS instructor preferred
- Proven expertise in telephone triage protocols and emergency assessment
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to convey complex information clearly
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, remote environments
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
