Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions using standardized triage protocols to determine urgency of care
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions in electronic health records
- Provide patient education on treatment protocols and discharge instructions
- Monitor department workflow and communicate bed availability to staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency drills
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- BSN degree preferred
