Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine medical urgency
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate care plans and referrals
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on treatment protocols and home care instructions
- Coordinate with emergency departments and specialty clinics
- Monitor patient flow and optimize department efficiency
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license
- 3+ years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BSN degree (required, MSN preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Exceptional triage assessment skills
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
