Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive telephone and video triage assessments for patients presenting a wide range of symptoms.
- Evaluate patient medical history and current clinical presentation to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways.
- Document all patient interactions accurately and securely within our Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes.
- Provide clear, empathetic patient education and self-care instructions to promote health literacy.
- Manage high-volume call queues efficiently while maintaining composure and clinical accuracy under pressure.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care or triage experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and telehealth technology.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a focus on active listening and conflict resolution.
- Ability to make critical decisions and prioritize care effectively.
