Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity using standardized triage protocols (ESI, CTAS)
- Coordinate patient flow in emergency department settings
- Initiate emergency interventions based on clinical judgment
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on care pathways
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
- Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments
