Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Prioritize cases based on acuity and clinical urgency
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Provide initial interventions and patient education
- Collaborate with care teams to ensure seamless patient flow
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years emergency room experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications (current)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- Ability to work efficiently in high-stress environments
