Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on medical urgency
- Provide expert triage services via phone and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in EHR systems following regulatory standards
- Develop and implement patient care plans based on initial assessments
- Oversee patient flow and resource allocation during peak hours
- Educate patients on healthcare resources and preventive measures
- Respond to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate intervention protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Arizona
- Minimum 3 years of emergency or critical care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Strong assessment skills with ability to make critical decisions
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in high-stress situations
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
