Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive telephone and digital health assessments to determine the severity of patient symptoms.
- Apply critical thinking and clinical protocols to prioritize patient care and recommend appropriate treatment paths.
- Document all patient interactions and triage decisions accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other care team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education on preventative health measures and medication management.
- Manage high call volumes efficiently while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during stressful situations.
- Adhere to all state nursing regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of acute care or emergency room nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex medical information clearly to patients.
- Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for on-site duties.
