Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize emergency cases using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely patient flow
- Document patient assessments and interventions in EHR systems with precision
- Educate patients and families on emergency procedures and care plans
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain emergency department supplies and equipment readiness
Qualifications
- Current NY RN license with BSN preferred
- Minimum 3 years emergency nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Experience with Epic EHR systems
- Exceptional communication and de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
