Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units (ICU, ER, MedSurg, etc.)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Implement patient education and discharge planning
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Specialty-specific certifications (e.g., CCRN, TNCC preferred)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
