Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments using provided diagnostic equipment including EKG monitors and vital sign trackers
- Apply triage protocols to prioritize patient cases in high-volume emergency settings
- Document patient encounters accurately using our electronic health records system
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists using provided telemedicine equipment
- Utilize provided wound care supplies and diagnostic tools for patient evaluations
- Train on new medical equipment and technologies as they are implemented
- Maintain inventory and proper usage of all provided triage supplies
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas with minimum 2 years emergency department experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficient in using electronic health records and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities for diverse patient populations
- Experience with telemedicine platforms preferred
- Ability to work efficiently with provided triage technology
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
