Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient acuity using advanced triage protocols
- Utilize digital health records and telemedicine equipment for remote consultations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient care transitions
- Implement evidence-based triage algorithms with provided diagnostic tools
- Train on new medical technologies including vital sign monitors and ECG machines
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Lead rapid response initiatives during high-volume periods
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with EMR systems and telehealth platforms
- Ability to operate advanced triage equipment (e.g., pulse oximeters, glucometers)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- BSN or Associate's degree with relevant certifications
- Tampa Bay area residency preferred
