Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Prioritize cases based on acuity levels and medical urgency
- Communicate critical findings to physicians and care teams
- Document assessments accurately in electronic health records
- Provide clear patient education on care pathways
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and emergency department standards
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year ER or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain during training)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience preferred)
