Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and in-person using evidence-based triage protocols
- Operate provided digital diagnostic tools including ECG machines, pulse oximeters, and telemedicine platforms
- Coordinate with emergency physicians to prioritize patient acuity levels
- Document patient encounters using provided EHR systems with voice-to-text capabilities
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Maintain inventory of provided triage equipment and diagnostic tools
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas with minimum 2 years emergency/trauma experience
- ACLS, BLS, and ENPC certifications required
- Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth systems
- Demonstrated expertise in rapid patient assessment protocols
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to operate provided diagnostic equipment (ECG, pulse oximetry)
- Strong problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Experience with EHR documentation and voice-to-text tools
