Responsibilities
- Perform virtual blood collections via at-home phlebotomy kits
- Provide telehealth guidance to patients during collection procedures
- Ensure proper specimen handling and packaging for lab transport
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
- Collaborate with lab teams on sample processing priorities
- Conduct virtual patient consultations for pre-collection instructions
Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician certification (ASCP/NCCT)
- 1+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and virtual communication
- Valid Arizona phlebotomy license
- Exceptional patient communication skills via virtual channels
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Background in handling pediatric geriatric patients
- CPR certification
