Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care based on medical urgency
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment for accurate patient evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians and emergency department teams
- Maintain precise electronic health records using provided systems
- Provide clear medical guidance to patients via phone and in-person
- Implement triage protocols for diverse patient populations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years emergency/trauma experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently with provided diagnostic equipment
- Strong organizational skills for high-volume environments
