Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth and in-person triage to determine urgency of care
- Collaborate with physicians to develop appropriate treatment plans
- Document clinical encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Provide patient education on home care and follow-up protocols
- Coordinate care transitions between departments and external providers
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NJ RN license with minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Strong communication abilities across diverse populations
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems preferred
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
