Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments for patients across all age groups
- Provide evidence-based clinical recommendations and care instructions
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Manage urgent care protocols and emergency response coordination
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with telehealth platforms or telephone triage systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
