Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical assessments via phone to determine the urgency of patient symptoms.
- Provide accurate medical advice, medication management, and health education.
- Document patient interactions and triage decisions into our Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Evaluate clinical presentations and recommend appropriate next steps, including home care or emergency services.
- Collaborate with physicians and care managers to ensure seamless patient continuity.
- Stay updated on current clinical guidelines and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, with preference for triage or telehealth experience.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to de-escalate high-stress situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to strict clinical protocols.
