Responsibilities
- Accurately process and verify prescription orders via telepharmacy platform
- Provide medication counseling and patient education remotely
- Manage inventory and coordinate with dispensing pharmacies
- Maintain compliance with NJ pharmacy regulations and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with pharmacists on clinical interventions
- Utilimize automated dispensing technology for order fulfillment
- Document patient interactions and medication records securely
Qualifications
- Active NJ Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience (remote preferred)
- Proficiency with pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- High-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
