Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize cases based on acuity
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear patient education and discharge instructions
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Manage high-volume triage in fast-paced emergency settings
- Implement infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English/Spanish
- Proficiency with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Bachelor's in Nursing preferred
