Responsibilities
- Conduct rapid patient assessments and prioritize cases using emergency protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Document patient interactions accurately in EHR systems
- Provide telehealth triage support for remote patients
- Train new staff on departmental triage procedures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- Minimum 3 years ER or urgent care experience
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EHR systems
