Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage and prioritize emergency cases
- Collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans
- Document medical histories and symptoms in EHR systems
- Provide health education to patients and families
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols
- Handle high-volume patient inquiries efficiently
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Florida (FL RN)
- 3+ years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Experience with Epic or similar EHR systems
