Responsibilities

  • Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative care strategies.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Document patient interactions, symptoms, and triage decisions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Manage high-volume patient queues and de-escalate potentially volatile situations with professional composure.

Qualifications

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in emergency nursing, urgent care, or triage settings.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
