Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient symptom assessments via phone or secure messaging platforms.
- Provide professional medical advice and determine the appropriate level of care required.
- Coordinate referrals to primary care physicians or emergency services when necessary.
- Document patient interactions, symptoms, and triage decisions accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient continuity of care.
- Stay updated on clinical guidelines and triage protocols to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Nursing Program (BSN, ASN, or LPN).
- Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of California.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with EHR systems is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new medical technologies.
