About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced RN to manage patient calls, assess symptoms, and facilitate appropriate care pathways. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly influences patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments via phone and electronic medical records (EMR) to determine urgency of care.
- Apply clinical judgment to prioritize patient needs and recommend appropriate medical interventions or referrals.
- Document patient interactions accurately and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient education and support regarding symptoms, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Manage high-volume call volumes while maintaining high-quality service standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a clinical or triage setting.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle high-stress situations effectively.
