Responsibilities
- Assess patient acuity and prioritize care in emergency and urgent care settings
- Collect detailed medical histories and vital signs for accurate triage decisions
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients on care pathways and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions
- Respond to critical situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems preferred
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments
