Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and ER staff to ensure timely patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Provide clear patient education on treatment plans and home care instructions
- Monitor vital signs and recognize clinical deterioration in emergency situations
- Coordinate with specialty departments for seamless patient transitions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
