Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned clinical units (ER, ICU, Med-Surg)
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge planning
- Adhere to JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
- Participate in shift handoffs and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; TN preferred
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Travel nursing experience highly valued
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
