Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor vital signs and document client health status accurately
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Administer prescribed medications under proper supervision
- Light housekeeping and laundry services as needed
- Maintain detailed care plans and communicate effectively with family members
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience required
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass thorough background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience with elderly population
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
