Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments via phone and in-person triage
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for urgent cases
- Educate patients on home care instructions and next steps
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with ER and urgent care departments
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (or eligible for immediate licensure)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Compassionate patient-centered approach
- Willingness to complete our triage training program
