Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical urgency using established triage protocols
- Provide compassionate telehealth and in-person consultations to determine appropriate care pathways
- Document patient encounters accurately in our EHR system while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care coordinators to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Delicate emergency response coordination for critical cases requiring immediate intervention
- Conduct health education to empower patients with actionable self-care instructions
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance triage accuracy
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to de-escalate sensitive situations
- Strong critical thinking and sound judgment in high-pressure scenarios
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for patient-centered care and commitment to ongoing professional development
