Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments via phone and in-person to determine medical urgency
- Accurately document patient information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to prioritize patient care needs
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding treatment plans and next steps
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all interactions
- Participate in continuous training to enhance triage protocols and medical knowledge
Qualifications
- Active RN license (or willingness to obtain immediately upon hire)
- Recent nursing graduates or career changers welcome to apply
- Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
- Basic computer proficiency with willingness to learn EHR systems
