Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision
- Maintain sterile instruments and infection control protocols
- Manage digital dental records and patient scheduling
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all patients
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- X-ray certification (KY state license)
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work 3-4 days per week (including some Saturdays)
- Attention to detail and commitment to HIPAA compliance
