Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone patient assessments to determine urgency of care needs
- Accurately document patient information using electronic health records
- Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff for patient care prioritization
- Provide clear, compassionate patient education and discharge instructions
- Manage patient flow and wait times in urgent care settings
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Recent nursing graduate or career-changer with healthcare interest
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Basic computer proficiency with EHR systems
- Current BLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
