Responsibilities
- Conduct initial patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Document patient information accurately in EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care levels
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Participate in emergency response drills and continuing education
- Support patient flow through the emergency department
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (or eligible)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work in high-stress environments
