Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments using standardized triage protocols
- Accurately prioritize patients based on acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians and care team for seamless patient flow
- Document patient encounters in Epic EHR systems
- Provide telehealth triage support during off-hours
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Alaska RN license (or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year ER or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights/weekends
