Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Apply evidence-based triage protocols to determine patient acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop appropriate care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up procedures
- Manage high-volume emergency call center operations during peak hours
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky (or compact state)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ER, urgent care, or telehealth
- ACLS/BLS certification (or obtainable during training)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
