Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity levels
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Provide clear communication to patients and families regarding treatment plans
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for emergency care
- Maintain inventory and equipment for triage stations and emergency protocols
- Mentor new staff during training phases to ensure team proficiency
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado or willingness to obtain immediately
- BLS certification with ACLS preferred (training provided)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure emergency situations
- Commitment to complete our paid training program (8-12 weeks)
- Basic computer proficiency with EMR systems
