Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history using established triage protocols
- Make accurate determinations of patient acuity levels and priority of care
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to coordinate patient flow
- Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families
- Document assessments and interventions according to regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
