Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls using clinical judgment and established protocols
- Provide accurate medical advice and triage services via phone and telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Educate patients on healthcare resources and emergency procedures
- Monitor patient outcomes and follow up on critical cases
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kansas with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Proven experience in emergency department or urgent care setting
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience highly valued)
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
