Responsibilities
- Assess patients' medical conditions rapidly and accurately to prioritize care in emergency settings
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient flow and resource allocation
- Maintain detailed electronic health records while adhering to HIPAA compliance standards
- Provide clear, empathetic communication to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Implement triage protocols for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for emergency department operations
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license with current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Minimum 3 years of ER or urgent care triage experience
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
