Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize emergency cases using standardized triage protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient histories accurately in EHR systems
- Provide critical medical guidance to patients via phone and telehealth platforms
- Monitor vital signs and identify changes requiring immediate intervention
- Coordinate with specialists to ensure seamless patient transitions of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum 3 years emergency department or triage experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- BSN degree or higher preferred
