Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical urgency using clinical judgment protocols
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage services across diverse patient demographics
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Delicate patient education on treatment plans and preventative care
- Manage high-volume call centers while maintaining exceptional service standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (CA RN)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in emergency or urgent care
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills across diverse populations
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Experience with telehealth triage protocols preferred
